Sunny weekend ahead with temperatures up to 18C, Met Éireann says

Met Éireann has forecast sunshine and dry conditions this weekend, continuing into next week.

Friday will start off with a dull morning bringing isolated drizzle throughout the day, the national forecaster has said.

By the end of the day, the sunshine might develop as the cloud will break up through the afternoon.

Temperatures will be 12 to 15 degrees, with light to moderate winds.

Tonight will be dry and clear with little to no wind. However, it will be the coldest night of the week, with temperatures dropping to 0 and 4 degrees.

Coldest weather might be expected over Ulster with a touch of grass forming, Met Éireann has said.

Saturday will be a dry and sunny day, with high temperatures ranging from 13 to 17 degrees, with light and variable winds.

Saturday night will remain dry and clear with light winds and temperatures dropping to 2 and 5 degrees.

The sunshine will continue to Sunday, as it will be another dry day with temperatures from 15 to 18 degrees and light winds.

Sunday night temperatures will drop to 3 and 5 degrees, bringing light winds and clear spells on dry Sunday light.

The next week will start off with a dry Monday and sunny spells. Temperatures will range between 12 and 13 degrees in the north of the country. Meanwhile, the south will see up to 17 degrees.

The winds will remain light and might turn moderate later in the day.

Monday night might remain dry with clear spells and light breezes, with temperatures dropping to 4 and 6 degrees.

Tuesday will see mainly dry conditions, with some sunny spells but also with isolated patches of drizzle. Temperatures will be 13 and 15 degrees, with light to moderate breezes.
