The east Cork seaside village of Ballycotton is going all out this Christmas with a chance to dine at award-winning Cush and enjoy a show at the beautiful nearby Sea Church.

Sea Church has a jam packed programme during the month of December which includes Lisa Canny, An ABBA Tribute Act, Jack L and Karl Spain.

The stunning venue can be enjoyed for food, music or both thanks to its link-up with Cush. The acclaimed eatery is offering a pre-theatre menu package that includes show tickets for any Sea Church gig during the Christmas season.

To finish 2023 in style, a major New Year’s Eve party is taking place at Sea Church, as Jerry Fish & The Electric Sideshow will transform the venue into a circus wonderland.

The night kicks off at 9pm when guests will be treated to a complimentary glass of bubbly, followed by a performance by local folk duo Dark & Lively.

Jerry Fish will then ring in 2024 with a spectacle that sees him as carnival creator and circus ringmaster, while performing all of his back catalogue of greatest hits.

“We’re so lucky to be situated in one of the most scenic parts of the country, and even luckier still that Ballycotton has some of the best entertainment and hospitality offerings in Cork,” said John Kidney, General Manager of Sea Church.

“It makes perfect sense for us to team up with Cush, and the Bayview Hotel, to make sure that people who attend our gigs this Christmas can experience a full festive experience by the sea,” John added.

Cush and the nearby Bayview Hotel can offer gig-goers who wish to stay overnight in the seaside village a comfy place to rest their heads after the shows.
